Your data, your device

When you upload a label photo, the image is sent to the Beer Check backend for OCR processing. Images are not stored — they are processed in memory and discarded immediately after the text is extracted. No image data is retained on the server.

Your search history (last 20 results) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server. You can clear it at any time using the “Clear history” button on the main page.

Beer Check has no user accounts, login system, or analytics tracking. No cookies are set beyond what your browser requires to serve the page. No personal data is collected or processed beyond the transient image/name lookup described above.

To remove all local data, use the “Clear history” button on the main page, or clear your browser's site data for beercheck.rgbnathan.co.uk in your browser settings.
